Kataeb's Deputy-President Salim Sayegh on Saturday reiterated the party's decision to play the role of a constructive opposition, saying that a challenge has been prepared to contest the government's power plan before the Constitutional Council.
Kataeb's Vice President Selim Sayegh on Wednesday lambasted the latest speech made by Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, saying that it proved again that Lebanon’s official spokesman has become the party’s secretary-general. "The comments on the visit of U.S. State Secretary Mike Pompeo to Lebanon were made by a party leader, not the President, prime minister or the Parliament speaker," he said in an interview on Voice of Lebanon radio station.
