Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel on Tuesday doubted the government’s intentions in regards to the looted public funds law which he submitted as a proposal to the Parliament two years ago.
“The approved law to return looted public funds existed since 2017 but forsaken in the Parliament’s drawers. It could’ve taken one session to make it a reality. It is that easy,” Gemayel said on his Twitter account.
“What stopped you from approving it in the past two years?” Gemayel questioned, attaching a copy of the submitted draft law.
