Lebanese Protesters Take to the Streets for Second Day Amid Coronavirus Lockdown

  • Local

Demonstrators on Wednesday took to the streets all over Lebanon for the second consecutive day, as the Parliament met for another legislative session at the UNESCO Palace.

The march which included parades of cars took the streets of Sidon and Beirut as well as many other areas, with people raising the Lebanese flags from the roofs.

One of the protestors stressed that the coronavirus pandemic will not deter them from completing the revolution, saying that now hunger and poverty have become a threaten to their lives.

Many demonstrators were wearing medical masks and gloves as a precaution against the spread of the virus.
