Kataeb MP Elias Hankache renewed his call for holding early parliamentary elections in a bid to increase the number of independent lawmakers in the Parliament, saying that the opposition parliamentary front hasn’t been formulated yet.
“There is a contact with all the independent lawmakers to indicate whether it is currently possible to form this front or not,” Hankache told Sharq- al-Awsat newspaper.
“We have worked with the MP’s many times so as to coordinate stances among them and submit draft laws,” he said.
