Kataeb's Emergency Task Force Calls for Controlling Coronavirus Cases Numbers

Kataeb's Emergency Task Force on Friday called on returning expats to strictly adhere to the safety and isolation measures upon their arrival, stressing the need to increase the PCR examinations so as to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

“Travelers should be strictly followed up by the Health Ministry and in cooperation with the local authorities in the field,” said a statement issued by the Kataeb’s Emergencies Special Department, stressing the need to respect the self-isolation process required by expatriates.

The Emergencies Special Department stressed the importance of closely following up the numbers and virus cases in the next few days so as to avoid any institutions’ closure, recalling the necessity of adopting citizenship control, providing personal and family protection and focusing on simplified, effective and deterrent means of self-protection.

“The quality of the hospital and clinical medical work mechanisms must be severely followed up as well as the effectiveness of the municipal health teams in coping with the cases,” it added.
