Angry Protesters Block Lebanon Roads for Second Day

For the second day in a row, angry demonstrators have blocked many roads across Lebanon in protest to the deteriorating economic and financial conditions.

According to the Traffic Management Control, blocked roads within Beirut area are: Khaldeh highway in both directions.

-Blocked roads within Jounieh and Jdeideh are: Jbeil, Zouk mosbeh, Ghazir and Jal al-Dib highway in both directions.

-Blocked roads within the North area: Al-Bddawi, Palma highway, Al-Mouhammara, Al-Abda, Koucha and Halba.

-Blocked roads within the Bekaa region: Jdita, Chtoura square, Taalabaya, Al-Rafid.

All roads leading to Lebanon’s South are accessible.

Roads were blocked with burning tires, rocks and sand barriers.
