Kataeb party's Deputy President Selim Sayegh on Friday stressed that there are no common interests without the presence of the mutual values between the French and the Lebanese people.
“Mr. Emmanuel Macron, without common values between the French and Lebanese peoples, there are no common interests. Your greatest lever is the free Lebanese people. Give means to this freedom: No prosperity, no impunity, no rescue, rather a clear road map,” Sayegh said adressing French President Emmanuel Macron via twitter.
Najib Mikati flew to France to hold talks with Macron. The meeting comes after Lebanon's new government won a vote of confidence Monday for a policy program that aims to remedy a devastating economic crisis.
