Resigned Kataeb lawmaker Elias Hankache on Thursday recalled the Beirut Port explosion, reiterating need to form an international probe commission to investigate the blast.
“Six months have passed on one of the biggest explosions in the human history and yet the criminal is free while others are arrested", Hankache wrote on Twitter.
“The victims’ families were beaten, injured people are in pain, and Beirut was destroyed,” he said.
“If we were in a real country, time would have stopped on August 4 at 6:08,” he added.
“Our resignation is a rejection to the fact that life can continue as if nothing had happened,” he pointed out.
