Resigned Kataeb lawmaker Elias Hankache on Wednesday deemed the lawmakers’ resignation from the Parliament as the solution to the country’s main problems, saying that the Lebanese’ anger should be focused on this matter.
“Whoever his conscience was not shaken by the Beirut port explosion, he sure will not be affected by the blocked roads or tents’ installment, unless we were in a large numbers like we were in the October 17 revolution,” Hankache wrote on Twitter.
“People’s anger should be focused on the essential demand, which is the resignation of 118 lawmakers,” he said.
"The solution begins from here,” he added.
Hankache also greeted every citizen who’s protesting peacefully for his sake of his dignity, family and country.
