Resigned Kataeb lawmaker Elias Hankache on Wednesday stressed that the 17 October revolution has broken all barriers between the Lebanese, and has ended the idea of leaders worshipping.
“All of us are called upon to participate in the parliamentary elections so as to elect competent people capable of building a new Lebanon and to hold accountable all those who violated our country’ sovereignty and caused its collapse,” Hankache said during a dinner that was held at his honor by the Huston Department in the United States.
Hankache blamed the Lebanese parties for pretending to defend the rights of its sect while the Lebanese are facing challenging circumstances, saying that the crises in Lebanon are affecting all people regardless of the sect they belong to.
“There is no fear for Lebanon with the presence of residents and expatriates fighting for the sake of building a strong State, meeting the expatriates and listening to their successful marches. Such thing pushes us to complete the difficult confrontation that we are waging in Lebanon and not to surrender."
