Maronite Patriarch Bechara al-Rahi on Sunday looked forward to the holding of the binding consultations at Baabda Palace tomorrow, affirming that the measures taken by the state are worsening the situation.
“The liberalization of the political decision and a national approach are the solutions to the problems of our country,” Rahi stressed during his weekly sermon.
“We are looking forward to the holding of the binding consultations tomorrow so as to designate someone trusted by the Lebanese people and who is ready to achieve the needed change,” he added.
Rahi also pointed out on the need to designate a Prime Minister as soon as possible as the situation in Lebanon is getting worse.
“At least form a new government before August 4th, since you haven’t told the Lebanese the truth behind the explosion that occurred on that date,” he stressed.
