The Abu Dhabi International Airport has added two new kids' play areas to keep children entertained while waiting for their flights.
The area in Terminal 1 contains aviation-themed activities, such as models of planes for children to climb on, a cloud slide and a baggage-tag tunnel, as well as runway-inspired floor mats, The National newspaper reported.
The Terminal 3 also includes a play area with a child-friendly air traffic control tower and a suitcase slide.
The airport also added five new baby-changing rooms.
"The summer season is a popular time for families to travel, and we are delighted to invite parents and children to visit our new play areas and take advantage of the conveniently located baby-changing rooms across Terminals 1 and 3," chief operations officer at Abu Dhabi Airports, Ahmed Al Shamisi.
